You will journey through the Old Museum where it feels like you’ve stepped back in time. Your journey continues through the Bird Kingdom’s Animal Encounters where parrots and exotic animals dwell. The Night Jungle is next and you’ll find owls, bats and other nocturnal creatures here. The next stop is “Discover The Kingdom” where you’ll go inside the World’s Largest Indoor Aviary full of colorful birds that are freely flying in the rainforest setting. Last but not least is the Lorikeet Landing where you can feed the lorikeet birds.
Inside this exhibit you will find something very rare known as a Javanese House. This house is extremely rate and dates back to the 1800s and its the only one found in North America. It is an architectural wonder because it’s hand carved completely from solid teak and it was built using no nails whatsoever. Javanese houses were constructed in the 19th century for the wealthy aristocrat society.
The park has a wonderful gift shop where you can pick up a bird related souvenir, garden items, outdoor decor, plush animals just to name a few. Last but not least, we can’t forget food. Take a break at the Bird Kingdom Safari Cafe where you can get a Safari pizza, hotdog, nachos, slushies and more!
The Bird Kingdom is the proud recipient of the Trip Advisors Hall of Fame as well as awarded the “Safe Travels” stamp that recognizes a businesses policies that help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This amazing park is only a 5 minute walk from Niagara Falls and they are open year round. You’ll want to bring your camera because there are photo ops at every turn and flitter and flutter.
