Many ports of call also feature Silversea Selected excursions -- premium activities available at an additional cost that can be booked ahead of your cruise. Unique to Silversea, every suite comes with round-the-clock butler service. Whatever you might need, be it room service dining, a cup of coffee, or fresh towels, a butler is there.

Before and after your cruise, you can expect private, executive-class transfers from home to the airport, and the airport to the ship. Elevating Haute Cuisine

Incredible dining is a staple of the cruise lines, and Silversea North America cruises are no exception. The cruise line is headquartered in Monaco near France and Italy. These two countries play a major role in each ship's cuisine, both known for their delicious food. Aboard each of their ships that sail the area, the Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow, four different restaurants ensure a meal for every taste.
The La Dame restaurant is a luxury establishment that serves the best of French dining with white glove service, while La Terrazza is Silversea's answer to its Italian heritage. A reservation-only eatery, you'll find à la carte classics made with only the best, freshest ingredients.
The Grill is a specialty restaurant that allows you to craft every meal to your liking. Using one of the oldest forms of food preparation, lava stone cooking, you'll pick which ingredients go into every dish, then put it onto the lava stone at your table to cook. During the daytime, visit The Grill for a burger and salad bar, complete with a rotisserie.
Lastly, The Restaurant functions as Silversea's main dining room. Featuring North American specialties, you'll find perfectly prepared dishes made by an expert culinary team, surrounded by magnificent views of the water and outdoor scenery.

The Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow each hold up to 388 guests in their suites, along with 302 crew members. At 610 feet long, the ships are significantly smaller than their ocean-going cousins, making them perfect for navigating the rivers of Canada and the bays of New England.
In addition, the Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow were remodeled in 2018 to an updated interior, featuring an entire Show Lounge, a Zagara Beauty Salon & Spa, a Casino, a Boutique, and a Connoisseur's Corner -- where one can sample upscale, hard-to-find liquors and cigars.

One of Silversea's greatest features, every cruise is designed to be all-inclusive. The butler service, gratuities, food, and virtually every other feature on board is included. Off the ship, private transfers and included economy airfare -- or reduced business class airfare -- will take you from your doorstep all the way to the ship, making every part of the journey as easy as possible.
While every journey is designed to be as inclusive as possible, there are specific upgrades available as well. The premium Selected Excursions are available at additional cost (prices vary). Specialty liquors, cigars, wines, and spa and salon treatments may also be added to your cruise cost, discretely charged as you check out at the end of your journey.
