VICTORY CRUISE LINES

Victory Cruise Lines' Great Lakes Cruises

VICTORY CRUISE LINES' VICTORY I & II are making their return to the Great Lakes with an Inaugural Sailing from Portland, Maine to Toronto, Ontario on April 16, 2025.

EMAIL US FOR THE LATEST ON VICTORY'S RETURN AND MORE INFORMATION ON THEIR INAUGURAL SAILING.
Let Our Cruising Experts Find the Right Victory Cruise for You

Victory Cruise Lines specializes in scenic coastal cruising. Their twin ships, the M/V Victory I and Victory II, are small and agile, easily navigating canals, locks, and ports of the Great Lakes that remain inaccessible to larger ships. With only 202 guests and more than 80 staff, service onboard is both attentive and personalized. Cruises include two dining venues, two lounges, free flowing house wine and beer, an on-board enrichment program with informative and entertaining guest lectures, and all-inclusive shore excursions to make the most of every destination.
Victory's core 10-day itinerary, which starts in Chicago, is expected to feature a coveted berth at Chicago's Navy Pier. Eventually making it's final stop in Ontario, these Toronto cruises will include visit to historic Mackinac Island, a transit of the Soo Locks at Sault Ste. Marie into Lake Superior, stops in Detroit and Cleveland, the Thousand Islands of Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls, and a final visit to Toronto — touching all five Great Lakes.

Victory's inaugural 2025 cruise will travel from Portland, Maine to Toronto, Ontario as the ship makes its way to the Great Lakes along the St. Lawrence Seaway. With a stop in the "Paris of North America", this is set to be one of the best Montreal cruises of 2025.

The Coastal Dining Room
For full service open dining the Coastal Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a beautiful spacious setting. Victory's expert culinary team designs dishes influenced by all the ports you will be visiting.  The chef will usually display delicious menu items before entering to help you with your selection such as: Michigan Shrimp Tempura, Smoked Duck Breast, Cobb Salad, Mediterranean Salad, Barolo Braised Lamb Shank, Marinated Broiled Lobster, Ginger Creme Brulee and Chocolate Fantasy.

The Grill
Take in the beautiful scenic views over the water while enjoying a tasty quick meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Buffet-style menu includes favorites such as roast prime rib and line-caught haddock along with savory sides such as roasted new potatoes, classic mac-and-cheese and the freshest of salads. The Grill also features a wonderful selection of cheeses, fresh baked breads and desserts.

The Tavern
This is the place to be in the late afternoon and early evening. Mingle over a cocktail that your bartender will soon know by heart - as you share tales of the day's adventures.

The Compass Lounge
This locations is the ship's social hub, with ample windows filling both sides of the room complete with newly reupholstered chairs, bench seating along the walls and cocktail tables.  This rooms decor has vintage flare with faux tin ceilings, white pillars and crystal chandeliers.

The Compass Lounge is also the spot to meet for talks, movies, afternoon tea along with pre-dinner cocktails and canapé, evening music (in a variety of styles) and dancing.   Here you will also find a coffee station with pasties in the morning and cookies in the afternoon.

victory cruise lines included excursions
Days are filled with enriching onboard lectures and well-thought-out shore excursions, providing you with direct access to major cultural and international metropolitan areas.

Enrichment
On board, local historians and naturalists will share their first hand knowledge to give you a better understanding of the region's cultural heritage, ecology and rich history.  Each evening, the onboard tour manager goes over the details of the following day's excursions. At that time, you may choose your preferred time slot for the next day's adventure.

Excursions
Days in port outnumber your days at sea, and at least one excursion is included when you're docked or anchored.  Guests are invited to venture out at each port and enjoy a Hop-On-Hop-Off Shore Excursion in the comfort of a luxury motor coach.  Individual headsets are used on some tours and can be recharged in your stateroom nightly.

All passengers are welcome to participate and there are no distinctions for activity levels. All tours include some walking, but you may go at your own pace and choose to sit at any section of the tour.  After tours, cruisers will often have an hour or two of free time to explore.

Excursions are an essential part of every cruise with Victory. On each cruise, you'll find a range of excursion options to suit your activity level and personal interests.

Optional Premium Experiences
Guests also have the opportunity to partake in an optional premium experience in each city.  This collection of shore excursions allows guests a more explorative adventure while in port. Details of these excursions are noted  within each itinerary.

Itineraries for Everyone
Victory features itineraries that offer something great for everyone interested in the Great Lakes. Whether you seek Chicago cruises that visit the famous Navy Pier or natural wonders like Niagara Falls, you'll find it here.

STATEROOM/ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DISABLED GUESTS
VICTORY CRUISE LINES welcomes disabled guests; however, guests must realize that there are inherent risks associated with traveling on board ships that are unique to cruise travel. Handicap cabins are available upon request.  All staterooms are accessible by elevator.

For people who are ill or have a mental or physical disability or impairment, the risks can be more significant. Guests must be able to independently move around the ship in case of an emergency or rough seas, cope with the lack of immediate access to medical services in certain parts of the world and acknowledge that access to some areas of the ship and ports of call may be limited or impossible. Shore excursions may require the ability to traverse cobblestones or go up and down stairs. We reserve the right to determine whether a guest is fit to travel and to deny boarding in the event that a guest represents a risk to themselves or to the safety and well-being of those on board the ship.

When you make your reservation, please advise us of any disability that will require special attention while sailing on the Victory I or Victory II and provide a completed Fit to Travel Form along with a physician’s letter. Should you have any medical, physical or other special needs, check the fleet information to gain an understanding of the layout of the ship, and contact a Great Lakes Cruises Specialist at 1-888-756-9008 directly with additional questions and to obtain a copy of our terms and conditions.
