PERE MARQUETTE BEACH
Located on the northernmost end, bordered on the north by the Muskegon Channel you will find one of the loveliest beaches in the state. Pere Marquette quartz sand beach has been certified by the Clean Beaches Council. The surf is ranked daily and the beach is very popular among Kite board enthusiasts. Home to many volleyball players visitors can also enjoy kayaks, paddle boards and jet ski rentals. There is also easy access to the Lakeshore Trail for cyclists, runners and hikers. Restaurant, snack bar, restrooms and picnic tables are also available.
