Antiques abound, exceptional service, and amazing breakfast make you feel that “home away from home” feeling. |
The mansion is truly an architectural masterpiece that was designed and built in 1891. The homes style is one of German Renaissance Revival and was lived in by George and Nora Schuster. Unfortunately, George passed and his second wife Mary sold the home in 1924. It was converted into a luxury apartment building and renamed Redstone Apartments. By 2001, the apartment building was sold and the new buyer began converting it back to its “mansion status”.
From the homes gorgeous stained glass windows, to the intricate details found in the tiled ceilings and walls, there is beauty throughout the home. The current owners Rick and Laura Sue operate and care for the mansion. They have plans in the works to add on guests rooms, and a beautiful terrace outside the library where guests can enjoy a morning breakfast.
The home’s ambiance is so peaceful and relaxing and that is quite evident in the beautiful old world fountain located in the rose and flower garden.

- First being “Mollie’s Tea”, a late afternoon or early evening meal with tea.
- The second option is the “High / Low / Afternoon Tea’, served on a set of china, your prepared food and tea is the equivalent of a local everyday coffee shop.
- The last option is “High Tea” to go. They will prepare your food and drink with the use of the items needed to have it at your location. Items must be returned unbroken within 24 hours to receive your deposit back.
